Ken and his wife, Julie, and their three girls have been blessed to have built their home in 2006 and have enjoyed their days in Elburn. Ken has lived in Kane County for over 30 years, but is originally from Palatine, Illinois. He is presently employed by the Forest Preserve District of Kane County as the Chief of Planning and Operations. Previously he had been employed by the County of Kane for nearly 30 years. He has held various positions for the County ranging from Soil Scientist/Planner, Director of the Subdivision and Zoning Division of the Kane County Development Department, Project Manager for the Kane County Department of Environmental and Building Management and Director of the Kane County Division of Environmental and Water Resources. He has been a trustee on the Village Board since 2009. Ken enjoys being in God’s creation, playing golf, catching fish, spending time with family and friends, and leading a community group in the Village as a member of Christ Community Church.
