The following solicitors have been issued permits to solicit within the Village of Elburn:
Cream King (Ice cream vendor), From 4-14-2023 to 9-30-2023
Metro Net, From 8-4-2023 to 10-31-2023
*Soliciting is permitted Monday-Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
*Ice Cream Vehicle Vending is permitted Monday-Saturday from 9:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
If a solicitor comes to your home without a permit, please call 9-1-1 so an officer can determine their legitimacy.
“No Solicitors Invited” stickers are available at the Elburn Police Department at no cost for village residents.
The Village of Elburn solicitor ordinance can be found in Laws/Ordinances, under Chapter 874. If you suspect a solicitor does not have a permit or is in violation of the ordinance, you can notify Elburn Police by dialing 9-1-1 and an officer will be dispatched to investigate.
