PRAIRIE PARK POND MAINTENANCE/CLOSURE
Work will begin soon to dredge the pond at Prairie Park (101 N Third St, NE corner of Third and E North Streets). The purpose of the pond is for the management/storage of stormwater. Over the years, excessive silt and vegetation have accumulated and shallowed the pond. Access to the pond area of the park will be restricted/closed while the work is in process. Depending on the weather, the work should be finished in 2-3 days.
