The Village of Elburn currently employs 24 full-time and 14 part-time employees in Administration, Building & Zoning, Police, and Public Works departments.

The village is looking to fill a newly created Human Resources Specialist/Assistant to the Village Administrator position.  This position will oversee the creation of hiring practices, administers and coordinates employee benefit programs, prepare and maintain employment records, research, compile, and organize salary and benefit survey information, and much more.

The starting pay is between $27.65 and $30.77 per hour based on a 40-hour work week. Salary dependent upon qualification.  The Village offers a generous benefit package including health, dental, and life insurance as well as a health spending accounts, a retirement plan through the Illinois Municipal Retirement Fund, paid holidays, paid vacation, sick leave, tuition reimbursement, and more.
