The Elburn Station Community Park, located at 714 E. Keslinger Road, is now open. The first phase of the park includes a ball field (football, lacrosse, & soccer), playground equipment for younger children, two half court basketball courts, a tennis court, a pickleball court, and a shelter with picnic benches.
The park is accessible via vehicle from westbound Keslinger Road only. Do not enter from eastbound Keslinger Road.
The park was funded by the Village of Elburn, Shodeen Construction, Inc., Blackberry Township, and an OSLAD (Open Space Land Acquisition and Development) grant from the Illinois Department of Natural Resources.
The next 2 phases will include more ball fields, extended pedestrian paths, and a permanent toilet. The start of next phase will depend on funding, additional parking, and accessibility from the north side of the park at either Station Blvd or Simpson Avenue.
